New training space

Or day started quite early with an alarm that told us that there are missiles sent to Israel.
this is something beyond scary. not just for the dogs but also for me but sadly, I am already used to it, so I always try to put my fear aside and just be calm for my dogs so that they don't get over nervous and traumatised by it.
I don't have a safe room in my house, so I usually try to go to the safest area of the house and stay there until it's safe to move.
it was a bit hard for Seraphina with all the dogs in front of her crate and not being able to play with them but I didn't want her running around when it might be dangerous.
Once it was all over, we went outside for a quick pee and then went back to sleep for a couple of hours.
I then woke Seraphina up to a BIG surprise!
A new indoor training room.
Well, not really new - but new for her.
The reason why it was important for me to get this room ready is because I wanted to have a space where we can train where she can feel safe and without the pressure from the noisy environment that I can't control.
We started off by some fun stuff with the food to get more comfortable with the room and when I saw she is good with it I changed for some luring in different directions and durations.
Afterwards we did a short session with the platform just so that she will generalize it in another environment and she was having so much fun!
By the time we started to play I decided to show her a new toy and see her reaction.
SHE LOVED IT!
we had fun tugging, she even brought it back a few times and the best part was when she pushed it to my face...
I felt like she was saying - here, I trust you. I would like to share it with you 🥹🥹🥹
it got me so emotional, really!
My day was super busy and I didn't even find the time for an evening training so I decided that instead of training I will meet her with a dog of one of my students who came for a lesson.
It was interesting for me to see her reaction, compared to my dogs that she know and feels like a rockstar with and I wanted to give her the time to feel good about it and at the same time that she will know that I am here for her, if she needs me.
Eventually she opened up and started to play and then I could smile again ☺️
We had a great day overall full of 1st times which is for me personally, the best part about raising a puppy!
