Let's go to the mall!

While socializing a pup you need to think about environments that would be good to create a nice memory but you also need to think about not over-stressing the pup and more importantly - won't be dangerous on the health aspect.
So I decided to take Seraphina to the mall 😅
I thought it would be quite but unfortunately I forgot about a holiday in Israel and found it more crowded than I expected so it was time to improvise.
I found a far corner where there shouldn’t be too much movement so she could find some peace and just allowed her to be.
I wanted to see if she is able to work with me at this environment or if it is too stressful for her and I was so happy so see that she was able to take food so we did a short training and finished it after a couple of minutes.
We continued our walk in the shopping center and found another corner, a better one. So I gave her the option to explore and to take some food again in another place.
She was a bit more tired but still interested and the best part was when she found her reflection 😂
We stumbled upon a “problem” when we walked into a new place and this was Seraphina’s time to show me something new about herself. She didn’t want to move further and I had to decide how to deal with it. Will I push her or will I let her make her own decision? I decided to stay where I was. So she can stay at her point until she feels comfortable enough to keep going but also to prevent her from going back.
Once she solved the problem we went back and made it again but this time we did it with more fun to show her there is nothing to be scared about.
As our journey continued we went inside a crowded coffee shop and that was the end of our training in the mall.
When we went back home she slept in her crate until the afternoon when I took her out again for some fun food work.
Get in a box is a fun session to do with your puppy to improve their body awareness without asking for too much.
Looking back I had a few more points where Incould reward better but I still need to get used to the puppy training mode.
We finished with some luring work and showed her what a slalom is for the first time before she went back to sleep until it was time for dinner.
At night it was quality time with Bailey and being silly 😂
