Our 2nd weekend together we started with a visit from Seraphina’s brother - Swayze.

The pups had great time playing around and we even took them out for a short walk so they can take confidence from one another.

It was super sweet to watch how they missed each other and their interaction.

We spent about 1 hour together before we said goodbye and little girl went to sleep for a couple of hours.

For the rest of the day I had a plan to take Rhythm out for training in an area that I thought would be too much for Seraphina so I made sure to spend some time with her before I leave the house so that she will be tired and sleeps well while I am out.

I started out with the toy and we had an amazing time together!

I can really feel how she is becoming stronger and much more confident with holding the toy and also with carrying it towards my direction 🥹

Her tug is stronger she can still lose concentration of course, especially when she needs to pee but forgets about it!

Afterwards we went to our indoor training room and started out some food work.

It was Saturday afternoon and on Sunday morning we had scheduled for the 2nd vaccination at the vet so my main goal was to prepare baby girl to be touched and I even got the “medical” props to try and simulate the situation and I had a good feeling about our next day appointment 😅

After a short platform session that was also very good I gave her a bully stick and sent her to sleep so that I can go train her dad.

Once I came back from training I was so tired that I just had to rest for a while, so after a short nap I took her out for one last party for the weekend and it was our first “switching” toys session!

The reason this training is important to me is because I NEED to know about my dog’s preferences at any situation. This way I can manage the energy of the game better but also, it can teach me about the style of the dog and more importantly, help me build more confidence during the play time!

And just like my other dogs, Seraphina showed once again that the JW ball, is the best toy we have at home 😂

I wanted to do some food work before I’ll feed her dinner so we just did basic stuff like focus games, luring and positions.

I am really proud of how she is improving with the noise from the environment and even when it’s becoming so much that she feels like she must run away, she returns so quickly and releases the fear very fast.

I can really see the improvement there and I am sure we will be able to solve this so that she would never have to feel afraid from a highway noise!
